We are not experts on the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are not AA historians. We do not intend to “teach”. What we endeavor to do is share our experience working the 12-Steps from the book Alcoholics Anonymous. We take six or so paragraphs from the book addressing each step and provide a panel of speakers who share their experience working that step. We have found this approach to be an inspiring format for a meeting.
The Following are the paragraphs selected for each meeting (Reprinted from the book Alcoholics Anonymous with permission of A.A. World Services, Inc.):
Meeting #1 – Step 1 – part 1 – Allergy
Meeting #2 – Step 1 – part 2 – Obsession
Meeting #3 – Step 2
Meeting #4 – Step 3
Meeting #5 – Step 4 – part 1 – Resentments
Meeting #6 – Step 4 – part 2 – Fear and sex conduct
Meeting #7 – Step 5, 6, 7
Meeting #8 – Step 8, 9 – part 1
Meeting #9 – Step 8, 9 – part 2
Meeting #10 – Step 10
Meeting #11 – Step 11
Meeting #12 – Step 12 – part 1
Meeting #13 – Step 12 – part 2
You’ve been invited to share. Here is how the meeting runs.
